Infinix GT 50 Pro Launched in India: Price, Specs and Gaming Features
Infinix has expanded its GT gaming series in India with the GT 50 Pro, launched on October 27, 2026. The headline is a big price jump: the phone costs Rs 69,999 for its single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, nearly three times the Rs 24,999 launch price of last year's GT 30 Pro. Infinix and launch coverage point to the global memory shortage pushing up costs.
Built for gaming first
The GT 50 Pro is built around gaming. It has pressure-sensitive GT Triggers 2.0 on the shoulder, designed for faster, more responsive controls in games, and Infinix launched a set of gaming accessories alongside it: the GT NX Controller for a handheld-style setup, the GT NX Station dock for connecting the phone to an external display, and the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0, a magnetic cooler meant to keep temperatures in check during long sessions. Early buyers get the full gaming bundle, plus a JioGames Pro Pass offer of 28 days for Rs 1.

What stands out, and what to watch
The screen is the other big draw: a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The 6,500mAh battery is generous for a gaming phone, and 45W wired charging plus wireless and reverse charging support round out the package.
The trade-offs are clear too. There are only two rear cameras, a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide, with no telephoto lens, so this is not a camera-first phone. And at Rs 69,999 it now sits in a much more expensive bracket than its predecessor, where it faces far stronger competition.
Should you wait or buy?
If you play a lot of mobile games and want dedicated triggers, a high-refresh screen and a big battery, the GT 50 Pro is built exactly for that. If photography matters more, or you want the best value at this price, compare it with camera-focused flagships first.
